Courted by Chelsea during the final days of the summer transfer window, Fermín López, Barça's young prodigy, decided to stay loyal to the club of his life. Having come up through La Masia, leaving was never really an option for him, as he was convinced his future would be written in Catalonia. He strongly reaffirmed this on Tuesday in an exclusive interview with Mundo Deportivo.

"In the end, my priority has always been to stay at Barça. I arrived here at the age of 12. It was my dream to be here, to make it to the first team. [...] The support from fans on social media? Not just this week—since I joined the first team, I've felt truly loved by the supporters. [...] My intention is to stay here," said Fermín López.
