Since the end of last season, the Real Madrid team has gone through many changes not only in terms of players transfer but also in terms of injuries.
While the likes of Nacho and Toni Kroos are no longer at Real Madrid, the club were also able to acquire the services of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick.
On the injury front, the likes of David Alaba, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and even Jude Bellingham have continued to suffer from periodic knocks.
But in the midst of the changing dynamics of the Real Madrid squad, coach Carlo Ancelotti has had one constant in the form of Federico Valverde.
The Uruguayan international, in fact, is the only Real Madrid outfield player to have played in every single minute this season.

This means the midfielder has featured in a total of 720 minutes this season across Real Madrid’s eight games, which is simply impeccable given the sheer number of matches teams in Europe are playing this season.
The 26-year-old, who inherited the No. 8 shirt at Real Madrid this season, has even chipped in with two goals and an assist.
Valverde’s constant presence in the Real Madrid setup also suggests that the Uruguayan is secured from any kind of rotation from Ancelotti, which indicates he is indeed an important cog in the Real Madrid midfield.
In fact, to put things into perspective, Valverde has been Real Madrid’s iron man, of sorts, having played in each of the club’s 38 unbeaten matches in La Liga.
This goes to show the sheer importance Valverde enjoys in the team. The fact that the midfielder has managed to remain injury-free for such a long time is also a testament to his physical prowess.
