Alexander Isak to Liverpool might now finally get moving after a proper bombshell update. The Reds are desperate to land the striker.
Liverpool went into this transfer window with a priority target: Alexander Isak. There's now under a week to go and he's still very much their no.1 target.
Newcastle United just haven't really been on board. Isak is - he wants to join Liverpool and is doing all he can to force that.

This includes refusing to play, train or really be a Newcastle United player. He's adamant that promises have been broken and that the club should facilitate a transfer.
However, Newcastle still don't want to lose him. Especially when all attempts to sign a new striker have fallen flat.
A plethora of potential deals have gone south, either because the player ultimately chose a different club or because Newcastle couldn't agree a fee. Their latest attempt to sign a striker, Wolves' Jorgen Strand Larsen, has seen a £55m bid rejected.
Their struggles saw Newcastle's owners step in, meeting Isak at his house on Monday to try and get him to stay. A new contract was put on the table, too.
It didn't go well.
Journalist Keith Downie explains in an update on Wednesday that the meeting between Isak and the club's owners 'didn’t go too well'. Now a move to Liverpool looks more likely than ever.
“The information I’ve got is that the meeting on Monday didn’t go too well," he said on YouTube. "There certainly wasn’t a positive resolution that came out of that.
"And that means there still is… a fairly high chance as we stand here on Wednesday night that Alexander Isak could leave for Liverpool.”
