A number of up-and-coming youth team talents were on Tuesday afforded the chance to impress in first-team training.
That’s according to journalist Sergi Capdevila, who has provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Barcelona’s squad is of course fresh off breaking up across all corners of the globe for the September international break.
In total, the Blaugrana have bid farewell to 14 senior players over the last 48 hours.
As much has left Hansi Flick and his staff with something of a threadbare group for training over the week ahead.
To make up for the drop in numbers, Barca’s headmaster therefore drafted a number of academy youngsters into his setup on Tuesday.
As per a report from the aforementioned Sergi Capdevila:
‘Today, youth players Oriol Pallàs, Orian Goren, Nil Teixidor, Pol Bernabeu, Hafiz Gariba, and Pedro Villar trained with the first team. This was a great opportunity for all of them under Flick’s command.’
