Marcus Thuram could be set for a brief spell on the sidelines in a crucial run of games for Inter, after an injury update confirmed that he is struggling with fatigue in the adductor muscles in his right thigh.
Inter confirmed on Friday that Thuram underwent medical tests at the club’s facility in Milano, which has highlighted an issue in his thigh.
The Nerazzurri have confirmed that the Frenchman’s condition will be monitored on a day-by-day basis, but initial reports elsewhere suggest that he is now at risk of missing out on the team’s next two matches.

According to reports from Sky Sport Italia, Thuram is likely to miss out on the upcoming test against Bologna in Serie A on Easter Sunday. There is a chance that the 27-year-old would have been rested against the Rossoblu anyway, but his absence is now likely to be enforced.
Marko Arnautovic is the expected replacement. The Austrian has four goals from his last five Serie A appearances.
There is a chance that Thuram is also forced to sit out the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final against rivals Milan coming up on Wednesday as well.
That means that a return either for the Serie A match against Roma on April 26, or the Champions League semi-final first leg against Barcelona on April 30 is currently the expected return date.
