Noni Madueke is very excited about the opportunity to join Arsenal, with it now up to the clubs to agree a fee according to Fabrizio Romano.
Madueke has agreed personal terms on a five year contract with the Gunners, and Arsenal are now in direct contact with Chelsea.
Arsenal submitted their first official offer for Madueke on Wednesday, but it was rejected, with Chelsea said to want more than £50m.
The 23-year-old is currently part of the Chelsea squad preparing for the Club World Cup final on Sunday, which looks like it could be his final game for the club.
Chelsea have already signed three attackers this summer in Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro, whilst Brazilian sensation Estevao has also joined the club.
Madueke arguably finds himself as third choice on the right wing, and clearly feels he’s ready for a new challenge, and will play more regularly at Arsenal.

The England international would likely serve as back-up to Bukayo Saka, whilst he can also provide cover on the left if needed.
It feels like a matter of when not if the deal is agreed, and Romano has now revealed how Madueke is feeling about the potential move.
“Noni Madueke is very excited about the opportunity to go to Arsenal,” he told his YouTube channel.
“Now, it’s not up to the clubs.”
Madueke, who joined Chelsea in January 2023 is under contract until 2030, and scored seven goals and registered four assists in 32 Premier League appearances last season.
Madueke won’t be the only attacker leaving Stamford Bridge this summer, with Joao Felix also set for the exit door.
