Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly under investigation by the Football Association after their supporters threw objects at Chelsea stars during Sunday’s London derby.

The Lilywhites slumped to a 4-3 loss against Enzo Maresca’s side, despite racing into a 2-0 lead inside the first 11 minutes.

Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski scored to put Spurs in a dominating position, but Jadon Sancho reduced the deficit for Chelsea before half-time.

Cole Palmer twice struck from the spot after Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr committed fouls in the second half.

Between the two spot-kicks, Enzo Fernandez also blasted home a magnificent strike, rendering Heung-min Son’s late goal a mere consolation.

Plenty of other incidents happened, as the home supporters launched missiles at Chelsea players.

According to the Mirror, Spurs fans in the South Stand were issued with pieces of paper to create a giant tifo that read ‘audere est facere’ (to dare is to do).

But some of them threw them Chelsea players when they took corners.

Palmer, Fernandez, Sancho and Pedro Neto were among the players who were targeted by the Lilywhites’ supporters.

The Football Association is investigating the incidents. They will review the footage and the referee’s match report before making a decision.

Tottenham could be fined by the FA for the behaviour of their fans.
