Juventus battled to a 2-0 victory at home to Verona on Monday evening.
Scorers: Thuram 72', Koopmeiners 90'
Verona thought they'd got themselves in front in first half stoppage time when Tomáš Suslov hit a screamer of a shot from distance into the top corner, but the goal was ruled out for an offside in the build up.
Juventus struggled for over an hour to break through the Verona defence, but eventually found the back of the net when Andrea Cambiasso made a neat pull-back in the box for Khéphren Thuram to fire home a top quality finish.
In the last minute of normal times, Teun Koopmeiners sealed all three points for the Bianconeri with a finish from a tight angle.
Juve end the evening just six points off the top, while Verona sit in a fairly comfortable 14th place.
