In his presentation at Casa Milan, Abraham told reporters about his decision to join the Rossoneri.

“I grew up with Milan. I consider them an excellent team. I am often asked how I want to play. I am always ready to face new challenges. I hope to have good results, to have a positive impact on the team,” he said.

“When I saw Milan were interested in me I did nothing but wait, telling myself a thousand times that it was the place I wanted to be.”

“Physically I feel better. I am still recovering from my injury but I feel really good,” he added.

“Wanting to leave Roma? No. It’s not that I’ve lost faith at all, but the fans know how important Roma are to me. But sometimes in life there are cases in which you have to move up a level, set the bar higher, and I have I thought this was the right opportunity. I wish Roma the best, but now I’m focused on Milan.”

“The first year went very well with Roma, then the second was more difficult. The players are human beings and the injury dragged me down for some time, but this at Milan is my great opportunity to demonstrate that I’m back. My ambition is always to win.”
