Dan Friedkin is again interested in buying Everton’s majority stake.
According to Bloomberg, the Roma president – who arrived in the Italian capital today – is once again interested in the fate of the English club after having been close to its acquisition, only to then give up in July.
Friedkin is apparently discussing with the parties involved the feasibility of an offer and the most suitable structure of a potential deal.
As for the fate of the Liverpool-based club, the US investor John Textor has long emerged as a possible buyer, who has secured the support of the investment company Aliya Capital Partners and the entrepreneur Alexander Bafer, but first he would have to sell a stake of the Crystal Palace.
At the moment there is no certainty that Friedkin will make an offer and both representatives of the Friedkin Group and Everton have not commented on the news.
