The Paris Saint-Germain women's team officially announced the arrival of Rasheedat Ajibade this Tuesday, August 26, 2025. The captain of Nigeria's Super Falcons has signed with the club until June 30, 2027.

The Nigerian striker joins from Spain, bringing with her a wealth of club and international experience, ready to inject fresh energy into the attack and provide leadership on and off the pitch. A Lagos native, Ajibade began her career at just 13 with FC Robo Queens before emerging as one of the brightest rising stars in African women's football. Named Nigeria's Best Young Player in 2018, she went on to play in Norway with Avaldsnes IL and then in Spain with Atlético de Madrid. Last season, she featured in 25 matches, netted eight goals, and delivered three assists.

As captain of the Super Falcons, Ajibade has led her team to continental glory at the 2018 and 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations. She was also a key figure at the 2023 World Cup and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

“Joining PSG is an honor. I am committed to giving my all to help the club win trophies and inspire young female footballers, both in Nigeria and beyond,” Ajibade said at her signing.
