Jason Cundy believes Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is playing with more of a swagger following Chelsea’s win against Legia Warsaw on Thursday night.
The Blues turned in an all to familiar uninspiring first half performance, but there was a vast improvement in the second half.
Maresca introduced Noni Madueke and Levi Colwill, whilst he put Tyrique George through the middle and dropped Christopher Nkunku into the number ten role, with George scoring his first goal for the club, and Madueke bagging a brace.
As expected Maresca made a number of changes from the goalless draw against Brentford, but Dewsbury-Hall maintained his place in the starting line-up.
The 26-year-old has been a regular in the Conference League this season and started in midfield alongside Reece James.
It’s been difficult for Dewsbury-Hall following his £30m move from Leicester last summer, and he himself admitted its’ been a frustrating season.

However, the midfielder put in an assured display against Legia in a hostile environment, with Cundy impressed by what he saw.
“I think he’s starting to grow, it’s a big step up from Leicester to Chelsea. There is a bit more of a swagger about the way he plays at the moment,” he told Chelsea’s official app.
Dewsbury-Hall has only started two Premier League games this season, whilst it feels unlikely he will be at the club next season.

Joe Cole feels he’s a better player than people give him credit for and he’s certainly showed signs of improvement with his recent performances.
The midfielder will likely find himself on the bench for Sunday’s must win game against Ipswich, but he looks set to play a key role as Chelsea aim to win the Conference League and get their hands on a first trophy under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership.
