Roma set sights on Marseille defender Leonardo Balerdi | OneFootball

Roma have reportedly turned their attention to Olympique Marseille defender Leonardo Balerdi.

According to Il Messaggero, the 25-year-old Argentine is a target for Roma who are interested in strengthening their defense.

This is not the first time Roma have looked at Balerdi: in 2019 and 2022 the capital club made inquiries for him.

Now, Balerdi, fresh off a renewal until 2028 with the French giants, could become an objective for Roma ahead of the summer.

The Giallorossi and Marseille share excellent relations which could, theoretically, enable negotiations for the Argentine.
