Eldor Shomurodov is close to leaving Roma.

The Uzbek striker is nearing a transfer to Venezia, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.

Roma and Venezia are in fact very close to an agreement for a loan with a mandatory buy option involved.

Venezia are now waiting for the final OK from the player with the deal expected to be closed by Sunday.
