The goalless draw against Juventus takes AC Milan further away from the Scudetto battle, while some worrying news has emerged about Rafael Leao.
As SportMediaset report (and show in a video on their website), Leao left San Siro yesterday evening visibly limping and without fully putting his right foot down. For now, no communication has arrived from Milan on his condition.
Calciomercato.com meanwhile are reporting that Leao’s condition is not a cause for concern. The Portuguese winger is believed to have received a knock which he can shake off rather than a muscle injury or anything else more serious.
The squad will meet tomorrow morning at Milanello to prepare for the Champions League match scheduled for Tuesday against Slovan Bratislava. The session is scheduled to start at 11:30, with Leão under special observation.
The former Lille man has been in great form the past few weeks, with a brilliant performance at the Bernabeu followed by a brace against Cagliari and a goal for his national team. That came after an up and down start to the season.
However, in the game against Juve last night he was barely seen, and that continues the trend of inconsistency, alternating high-level performances with ones like yesterday.
