Alessandro Costacurta feels that the ‘most worrying thing’ in Milan’s 0-0 draw against Juventus is that the Rossoneri didn’t even come close to winning the game.
Milan drew 0-0 with direct rivals Juventus at San Siro on Saturday. The Rossoneri produced just one shot on target and were booed by their own fans after the final whistle.
Italian media strongly criticised both teams, calling the game “horrific.”

However, while Juventus could see the glass half full, Milan must bounce back quickly. The Rossoneri have a game in hand but are already nine points below the table leaders.
“One team didn’t want to lose, and I refer to Juventus,” Milan legend Costacurta told Sky Sport Italia.
“Milan wanted to win, but the most worrying thing is that they didn’t even get close to it. Juventus remains a team that doesn’t risk much. There were many evident technical errors,” concluded the ex-defender.
Former Italian striker Luca Toni agreed with Costacurta and said during the DAZN post-match show that the Rossoneri fans were irritated because the players didn’t do enough to win the match.
With 19 points in 11 rounds, Milan have had their worst start to the Serie A campaign since 2020.
