The Premier League champions have a well-established squad but due to some of their players leaving the club this summer, they will have to work on finding their replacements.

Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has announced his decision to leave the club this summer with the England international defender heading to Spain to join Real Madrid.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong is on the club’s radar to replace Alexander-Arnold.

Darwin Nunez is on his way out of Liverpool

Another player almost certain to leave the club this summer is striker Darwin Nunez, according to Football Insider.

The 25-year-old attacker has been constantly linked with a move away from Anfield in the last few days.

With Slot looking to strengthen his attack with a reliable and consistent number nine, Nunez would be shown the exit door at the club.

Since his high-profile move from Benfica in 2022, the 25-year-old has shown flashes of his potential, but his adaptation to the Premier League has not been seamless.

Not only has the attacker struggled to perform under Slot, he was also inconsistent during Jurgen Klopp’s reign at Anfield.

The Merseyside club are looking at their options in the market to replace the striker.

Aston Villa attacker Ollie Watkins is one of the players who has been linked with a move to the Premier League champions.

It remains to be seen what Liverpool decide as far as their future new attacker is concerned but Nunez’s exit from the club is only a matter of time now.

Among the players to leave the club this summer, left-back Kostas Tsimikas could be another casualty of the mass exodus at the club.
