Real Madrid’s iconic Santiago Bernabeu Stadium has provided countless unforgettable moments for football fans worldwide.

Home to Real Madrid since its opening in 1947, this historic venue has witnessed legendary players, dramatic matches, and numerous trophy celebrations.

While the stadium has served as the breeding ground for countless Real Madrid victories, it prepares to create more history, this time on the international stage.

The 2030 World Cup final will be played at the Bernabeu

Indeed, according to SPORT, the Santiago Bernabeu is all set to host the 2030 World Cup final, co-organized by Spain, Morocco, and Portugal.

The report states that the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) hopes to finalise this issue at a crucial meeting next Monday.

The venue distribution is set: Spain will have 13, Morocco six, and Portugal two. The RFEF, organizing the event, believes the final should be in Spain, with the Santiago Bernabeu as the chosen venue for the 2030 World Cup final.

It must be remembered that the Bernabeu hosted the 1982 FIFA World Cup final 48 years ago.

Now, the newly renovated stadium is poised to once again host this prestigious event in 2030, six years from now.

In total, Spain will present 15 stadiums across 13 venues, including the Bernabeu, Spotify Camp Nou, RCDE Stadium, San Mames, Metropolitano, La Cartuja, Mestalla, Anoeta, La Romareda, Riazor, Balaidos, La Rosaleda, Gran Canaria, Nueva Condomina, and El Molinon.

With its new look and state-of-the-art additions, the Bernabeu being bestowed the honour of hosting the World Cup final would hardly be a surprise.
