After all, considering their own financial troubles, it would be wise to perhaps generate revenue where it is possible. However, it is up to Barcelona to decide whether it is worth it or not.

Keeping that in mind, recent reports have highlighted the club’s willingness to make a high-value sale this summer. To do so, La Blaugrana have reportedly shortlisted certain players who are not exactly nailed on starters but still have enough experience to fetch a good price.

One such player being mentioned in those reports was Fermin Lopez, who has repeatedly shown his value to Barcelona over the last few seasons. Moreover, his performances have not gone unnoticed and reports have suggested that even Bayern Munich would be interested in him.

Now, however, a new suitor has apparently come into the picture as well. According to Fichajes, Premier League giants Liverpool would reportedly be interested in acquiring the services of the young Spanish midfielder, and they would possibly be willing to spend a rather significant sum on him.

As per the report, Liverpool are preparing a major offer worth around €80 million for the young Barcelona player. Known for his dynamism, energy, and goalscoring ability, Fermin Lopez is a player that Arne Slot reportedly likes a lot and believes would fit into his system.

Unfortunately for Lopez, his situation at Barcelona is not exactly ideal as well. With so many players competing for minutes and Barça still looking for a new left-winger, it would make sense to assume that minutes might be hard to come by for most players.

In that regard, Pablo Torre is already expected to leave the club this summer and look for minutes elsewhere. However, as per this same report, Lopez might not be the only player from Barcelona that Liverpool are eyeing.

Reportedly, even Danish defender Andreas Christensen is a player that the English side wants to have to add experience. For him, they are reportedly preparing an offer worth around €20 million as well, coupled with the €80 million offer that they would potentially send in for Fermin Lopez.
