With the first international break of the 2025/26 season just around the corner, national team managers have been announcing their squads for their respective games and several Barcelona players are set to be involved.
Indeed, earlier today, Spain manager Luis de la Fuente released the squad list of the players he is calling up for their upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures against Bulgaria and Turkey.
And, as many as seven Barcelona players make the cut. Indeed, in defence, Pau Cubarsi secures a berth, while the midfield department sees Pedri, Gavi, Fermin Lopez, and Dani Olmo get called up.
Moving up in attack, in-form duo Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal have been included in the squad as one would expect.
However, De la Fuente has opted against calling up Barcelona summer signing Joan Garcia once again, banking on Unai Simon, David Raya, and Alex Remiro in the goalkeeping department.
Alejandro Balde also gets overlooked by the Spain manager, who has Marc Cucurella and Alejandro Grimaldo as his preferred left-backs. Marc Casado, who has not played much this season, also misses out.
