Official: Hansi Flick spring surprise as Barcelona name XI to face Levante | OneFootball

The XI of players called upon by La Liga champions Barcelona for the club’s upcoming meeting with Levante has been unveiled online.

And it features noteworthy inclusions and exclusions alike.

Barcelona are of course primed to return to action in short order.

Fresh off kicking the defence of their La Liga crown into gear by way of a 3-0 downing of Mallorca last weekend, the Blaugrana have made the trip to Valencia, for a meeting with the aforementioned Levante.

Hansi Flick called upon a strong squad of players for the clash, despite the ongoing registration absences of the likes of Gerard Martín and Wojciech Szczęsny.

And as alluded to above, ahead of the fast-approaching kick-off at the Estadi Ciutat de València, those chosen to feature from the off for the visitors have been confirmed.

In an all-out attacking line-up, Hansi Flick has opted for the quartet of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Marcus Rashford.

Marc Casadó, meanwhile, steps in for the absent Frenkie de Jong, meaning Gavi is again forced to make do with a place on the bench.
