A sensational comeback from Barcelona sees them beat Levante away from home. Despite being 2-0 down at half-time, Hansi Flick’s men mounted a great comeback. Ultimately, Barça manage to take away all three points and continue their winning ways after their victory in the La Liga opener against RCD Mallorca.
With a 3-2 victory, Barça saw Pedri and Ferran Torres score before Levante ultimately put one in the back of their own net near the end of the game. Not the best of performances, but a win that shows the team’s fighting spirit.
Here are the player ratings for Hansi Flick’s team.
Player Ratings:
Joan Garcia: 6.5
Did well to come off his line and played some great passes to his teammates. Unfortunately, could not do much about either goal that he conceded.
Eric Garcia: 7.0
A solid performance, he provided assistance to both his forwards and his defenders.
Ronald Araujo: 7.0Strong in his duels, the Uruguayan was also reliable in terms of his passing during the game.
Pau Cubarsi: 6.5
It seemed that Levante were finding it a bit too easy at times to win duels against the youngster and he got outsmarted by the opposition for the opening goal as well. Fortunately, his performance improved later on.
Alejandro Balde: 5.5
Clearly was not at his best, and Levante had the Spanish fullback frustrated. The Spaniard was not all that effective either when it came to his offensive output. Moreover, he was unfortunate enough to give away a penalty as well.
Marc Casado: 6.0
Sluggish in possession and seemed to be contesting a lot of duels. Not his best game, and he certainly needs to freshen up a bit more.
Pedri: 9.0
Created chance after chance for his teammates, and ended up scoring a sensational goal himself. The Spaniard ran the game for Barça, and his teammates should have given him a few assists as well.
Lamine Yamal: 7.5
Got an assist, but that was mainly thanks to Pedri’s sensational strike. Struggled in terms of beating his man, however, and his dribbling left a lot to be desired in this game. However, he did provide the cross that led to Levante scoring an own goal which proved to be decisive for Barcelona.

Raphinha: 8.0
Clearly had some problems adjusting to the central attacking midfield role thanks to Levante’s tight defense, but grew into the game with time. Grabbed an assist for Ferran Torres’s goal and even put in a shift defensively.
Marcus Rashford: 6.5
Had a few promising moments, but was one of the first players to be substituted.
Ferran Torres: 7.5
Struggled initially, and also missed a golden opportunity to score early. The Spaniard did manage to score an important goal in the second half.
Substitutes:
Dani Olmo: 7.0
His composure really helped Barcelona settle into the game during the second half, and bringing him on was a good move from Hansi Flick.
Gavi: 6.5
Great in terms of contesting for the ball and did well to constantly be a nuisance for Levante as well.
Andreas Christensen: 6.0
The Danish defender was reliable in possession and did well to play time near the end of the game.
Robert Lewandowski: N/A
Not enough time or influence on the game to warrant a rating.
Jules Kounde: N/A
Not enough time or influence on the game to warrant a rating.
