Randal Kolo Muani’s (26) future does not look to be at the Parc des Princes. The France international struggled to live up to the significant €90m price tag during his first season at Paris Saint-Germain. With Kylian Mbappé gone and Gonçalo Ramos injured for much of this campaign, it was thought that Kolo Muani would get his chance.
However, his chances have been limited and when he has been afforded them, he has not taken them. As a result, he was omitted entirely from PSG’s matchday squad during Sunday’s win over Olympique Lyonnais. That omission came amid links to a move to Manchester United, as well as AS Monaco, who are looking to loan a striker following an injury to Folarin Balogun that will rule the USMNT striker out until April 2025.
Amid those links, Luis Enrique has broached Kolo Muani’s future with Les Parisiens. “I could speak about it, but I won’t because my decisions say it all, even if, as I have said, all of my decisions can be changed,” said the PSG manager. Should offers arrive in January, it looks highly likely that PSG won’t stand in the way of a departure.
