Maghnes Akliouche might be heading for a transfer this summer, as both PSG and Manchester City are showing strong interest in the AS Monaco midfielder. At 23, he’s been one of Ligue 1’s top performers, and a fresh challenge could be on the way.
Manchester United have also been linked to Akliouche. According to L’Équipe, they’ve joined the race, setting up a potential showdown with their Premier League rivals for his signature.
Monaco reportedly want between €70 million and €80 million, but that price hasn’t put off any of the interested clubs, making a move this summer seem more and more likely.

With Akliouche in the rumor mill, Foot Mercato reports that Monaco will make signing Johan Bakayoko from PSV a priority if the Frenchman is sold.
Akliouche is attracting serious attention from top clubs, and AS Monaco appear open to a sale if the right offer comes in. A past report from CaughtOffside valued the 22-year-old between £50.2 million and £58.6 million, a range Monaco would reportedly consider.
The club is said to favor a move to the Premier League over selling to Paris Saint-Germain, with internal concerns growing over PSG’s ongoing pursuit. Akliouche has been involved in 15 goals this season, mostly playing off the right wing—a role that has fueled talk he could one day replace Mohamed Salah.
In May, 90min France reported that Manchester City and PSG have recently stepped up their interest, making a summer departure more likely. Monaco are now believed to be asking for around €70 million.
Pep Guardiola is reportedly a fan of Akliouche’s left-footed playmaking and ability to fill multiple roles, qualities that could make him a natural fit to succeed Bernardo Silva.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Bayer 04 Leverkusen are also monitoring the situation. The Bundesliga side have held initial talks but are hesitant due to Monaco’s high valuation. These next few weeks should be interesting, should a move occur.
