Nicolas Jackson wants to stay at Chelsea and believes he’ll rediscover his best form next season according to journalist Rahman Osman.

Jackson’s future at Chelsea has been questioned following the arrival of both Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, and the 24-year-old now faces serious competition for his place for the first time in his Chelsea career.

The Senegal international was overlooked for the Club World Cup final, and remained on the bench whilst Pedro and Delap got minutes.

Nicolas Jackson wants to stay at Chelsea

It’s believed Chelsea aren’t actively looking to sell Jackson, but would consider acceptable offers for the Senegalese.

Jackson is attracting interest from AC Milan, but it’s unlikely the Italian club would be able to afford the striker given the Blues are thought to want at least £50m.

Jackson is facing an uncertain future this summer.

Aston Villa and Manchester United are among the Premier League clubs interested in Jackson, although no official offers have gone in for the player to date.

Jackson had a mixed campaign in which he scored ten league goals, as well as scoring in the Conference League final, but had a disappointing Club World Cup campaign in which he got more red cards than goals.

There’s no guarantee he leaves this summer, and you would imagine the only way it happens is if Jackson says he wants to.

It certainly a situation to watch over the coming weeks, and Osman has now provided an update on Jackson’s future.

He took to X.com and said:

“Chelsea will be losing two years of good investment if they sell Nicolas Jackson this summer.

Christopher Nkunku could end up staying

Another forward with an uncertain future is Christopher Nkunku, and the expectation is he’ll leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

However, Nkunku showed good form at the Club World Cup, as the 27-year-old appeared in six of Chelsea’s seven games.

Nkunku is attracting interest from Manchester United and Bayern Munich, but it’s been reported he could actually end up staying this summer.
