Chelsea have reportedly made Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers a top priority this summer.
The Sun say the Blues are ready to “push the boat out” and sign the England international, who is valued at at least £80m, it is claimed.
Villa are said to be keen on Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, though any deal involving the two would be separate, the report adds.
The Daily Mail also say Villa are among the clubs keen on signing Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.
They report that Chelsea and Tottenham are also monitoring the Argentinian youngster, however, along with Atletico Madrid, amid claims he can leave Manchester United this summer.
Meanwhile, the Guardian say Brentford are looking for at least £70m for forward Bryan Mbeumo with Manchester United still keen on signing the Cameroon international.
United have been in talks with the Bees for several weeks but have been unable to strike a deal.
United winger Jason Sancho could soon depart the club after a disappointing spell at Old Trafford, however, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting that Juventus are advancing with their move for the 25-year-old.
Sky Sports are reporting that the Italian giants have also made an enquiry into signing Marcus Rashford from United.
Elsewhere, the Athletic say that Newcastle are interested in signing Brentford striker Yoane Wissa.
It comes after reports that they could miss out on long-term target Hugo Ekitike, who is the subject of interest from Liverpool.
Sky Sports say Liverpool are expected to make a bid for Ekitike after being told by Newcastle that striker Alexander Isak is not for sale.
Wissa is believed to be valued at around £40m, with only a year left on the striker’s current contract. Nottingham Forest have already had a bid turned down for the 28-year-old.
Arsenal Women have completed a women’s transfer record £1m deal to sign Olivia Smith from Liverpool.
Sunderland are reportedly eyeing a move for former Arsenal midfielder and current Bayer Leverkusen star Granit Xhaka.
And Hayters understands that Bolton are among a number of clubs chasing North Macedonian striker David Toshevski.
