The Tractor Girls announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
The 25-year-old signs on with Ipswich Town after leaving former club Charlton Athletic earlier this summer.
Roe started her career in the well-respected academy system at Brighton & Hove Albion. The player went on to feature for The Seagulls at senior level on a handful of occasions. Roe spent time out on loan at Charlton Athletic in the 2020/2021 season and that deal was later made permanent by The Addicks. During her time at The Valley, Roe has gone on to make more than 100 appearances for Charlton Athletic in all competitions, establishing herself as one of the strongest full-backs in Barclays WSL2.
Roe is now a household name in the second tier and she will be hopeful of making a real impact at Ipswich Town.
After joining Ipswich Town, Roe said “I am delighted to be here. I’ve known Joe [Sheehan] for a long time and I’m looking forward to working with him again.
“Ipswich has really invested to develop the foundations of the Women’s team and it’s been great to see how they have grown over the years. I think it’s an exciting project to be a part of.
“I can’t wait to get going now so we can start building towards that first game of the season in September.”
Roe is Ipswich Town’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
