An insight into the plans of Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick for the club’s imminent showdown with arch rivals Real Madrid has on Saturday been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and points towards just one doubt as having emerged for the German when it comes to his XI for the clash.

That in question comes in the form of who is set to start as the midfield spearhead.

The two options are Fermín López and Dani Olmo.

In favour of the former is his fine display in his first start of the campaign in midweek, when Fermín notched a pair of assists en route to Barcelona’s 5-2 Champions League drubbing of Bayern Munich.

On Olmo’s side, though, are experience in big-game situations, and the fact that, when all players are fit and firing, the summer arrival in Catalunya’s capital is expected to be an automatic starter.
