2 Real Madrid stars to return to XI for Barcelona clash | OneFootball

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti is preparing a pair of major changes to his XI for the club’s imminent showdown with Barcelona.

That’s according to Marca, who point towards two players as being set for a return to starting duties.

The pair in question? Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurélien Tchouaméni.

Both Camavinga and Tchouaméni dropped to the bench during the week, as Real Madrid got the better of Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Later this evening, though, the French internationals will be back in from the off.

As per Marca, with Rodrygo sidelined, the plan of Ancelotti and his coaching staff is to return to a four-man midfield to face Barcelona.

The engine room setup in question will comprise of Tchouaméni, Camavinga, Federico Valverde, and Jude Bellingham.

This will mean Luka Modrić being sent back to the bench, with a view to being introduced to proceedings late on at the Santiago Bernabéu.
