Forest 'outright reject' Newcastle bid for Anthony Elanga | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest have rejected an offer from Newcastle for Anthony Elanga.

That's according to Athletic journalist David Ornstein, who claims that Forest batted away the proposal outright on Tuesday.

The report states that Eddie Howe's side offered £45m for the Sweden international, but that was rejected without counter.

Forest, it says, have no interest in selling Elanga and want to keep the former Manchester United man for their upcoming European campaign.

Newcastle meanwhile have been quiet so far this summer, not signing anyone so far.
