Paul Merson has offered a bleak prediction for West Ham‘s trip to face Bournemouth tomorrow night.

Under-pressure Julen Lopetegui takes his side to face the high-flying Cherries at the Vitality Stadium on another Monday night of Premier League football, although there will be little expecting a positive result for the Hammers.

The form of team under the Spaniard has been erratic to say the least this season, with far too many poor displays which have left West Ham looking a side more likely to face a battle at the bottom rather than one that will challenge for European football.

Bournemouth on the other hand look a club with a clear vision and identity, with their recruitment structure eclipsing that of the one in place in east London, with a Head Coach to match, which really does put the West Ha ownership to shame.

Former Arsenal and England player Merson, who now works as a pundit within the game, has predicted a comfortable win for Bournemouth, as he feels they will come away with a 3-1 win.

Should that be the case, then it could well be the final nail in the coffin for Julen Lopetegui at West Ham.
