Football Italia understands that Milan midfielder Warren Bondo is now open to the idea of joining newly-promoted Cremonese on loan for the 2025-26 season after the Rossoneri officially welcomed Ardon Jashari to San Siro on Wednesday.
Cremonese have made attempts to bring Bondo, who joined Milan from Monza at the end of the January transfer window, in on loan for the 2025-26 campaign. Despite initial doubts and deliberations, the situation is beginning to change for La Cremo.
Milan have recently announced the signing of Jashari for a fee of €37m, which makes him both the most expensive Serie A arrival this summer, and the most expensive midfield signing in the club’s history.

With Jashari now on board, Milan have seven first-team central midfielders, all of whom are expecting regular minutes in the forthcoming season. Jashari adds to a department that also includes Luka Modric, Samuele Ricci, Youssouf Fofana, Yunus Musah, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Bondo.
The issue is that with no European football for the Rossoneri this season, there will not be enough opportunities for all seven of those midfielders to play regularly and consistently next season.
The situation leaves Bondo now seriously considering a loan move to Cremonese, who are prepared to sign the Frenchman on a straight loan deal, without any future option to buy.

Cremonese are also prepared to pay a fee to bring Bondo in on loan and are willing to cover the player’s salary in full.
Football Italia understands that there will be talks in the next few hours involving Davide Nicola, who wants to sign Bondo at all costs.
