The agent of Artem Dovbyk, Oleksandr Liundovsky, clarified his client’s intention to continue playing for Roma despite rumors of a possible departure in the summer.

In an interview with Il Messaggero, Liundovsky said, “Dovbyk will stay at Roma. I am in daily contact with the management and no one has ever spoken of his transfer. Everything else is nonsense.”

“Gasperini is counting on him,” he added. “Artem scored 17 goals in his first year: he did better, numbers in hand, than some Giallorossi legends like Dzeko and Völler.”

“Roma will buy another striker. It is normal for a top club to want to strengthen itself,” Liudovsky explained, “but this does not mean at all that Dovbyk is on the market.”
