Atlanta United reignite interest in Eldor Shomurodov | OneFootball

After being linked with a move to MLS a year ago, in the summer of 2024, Eldor Shomurodov is once again on the radar of an American club.

According to today’s edition of Il Messaggero, Atlanta United have come knocking once more on the Uzbek striker’s door.

The American club had already shown interest in him a year ago but the negotiations collapsed at the last moment.

However, this time Shomurodov could end up going to MLS as Roma have yet to prioritize him for next season.

The Giallorossi plan on keeping Artem Dovbyk in the squad which would reduce Shomurodov’s chances of playing consistently.

In his place, Roma are already looking for a younger alternative with Parma’s Bonny being the latest name linked with the capital club.
