Como are now discussing the final details of a deal to bring Alvaro Morata back to Serie A, which involved interrupting his loan spell from Milan to Galatasaray, who will be entitled to compensation.
Como had been hoping to close a deal for the 32-year-old centre-forward by the end of play on Wednesday, but it eventually took a few more hours, spilling into Thursday, to get the deal in place.
A deal is almost in place for Morata to return to Italy six months after he left San Siro to join Galatasaray on a year-long loan deal, which could have been extended to 18 months and potentially made permanent in the summer of 2026.

The deal involves Milan having to break their loan agreement with Galatasaray. The intervention from the Rossoneri is what has helped push the deal towards the finish line.
The deal will cost Como somewhere in the region of €10m to reunite head coach Cesc Fabregas with his friend and former Chelsea colleague.
