Chelsea are ready to look at offers over £45m to sell one of their regular first team players according to a big report late last night!
Chelsea beat Benfica in the first set of knockout rounds in the Club World Cup on Saturday night, but it was far from easy and also, very far from drama.
Enzo Maresca labelled it a joke that the game got suspended for two hours due to sever weather conditions and slammed the tournament location as a result, and he really does have a point here.
And then came a flurry of late goal with Benfica equalising deep into stoppage time through a penalty to send it into extra time. Chelsea then bagged a bunch of goals to go on and win the game before it got to penalties!
Chelsea are on a mission to improve the first team squad even more this summer and get some big deals done.
They have been signing many new players in attack and are also looking to sell some players as well to make room and balance the financial books.

Not exactly, but Chelsea WILL listen to offers over £45m for him, that is at least according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
Jacobs posted an update on it last night on X, and he says:
“Enzo Maresca still values Noni Madueke. However, Chelsea could entertain bids of £45m+, with add-ons on top, especially if they secure another attacker.”
I think it’s very clear that Chelsea will sell Madueke this window if a reasonable offer comes in. I think they will sell for £50m and a club will pay that too.
