Celtic trained at Lennoxtown on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League meeting with RB Leipzig. The Bundesliga side arrive in Glasgow for the European meeting as they look to get their first points in the new-look format. Brendan Rodgers’ side have four points after their opening three fixtures with their only defeat coming against Leipzig’s rivals, Borussia Dortmund. Nuri Șahin’s side were 2-1 winners at the weekend, setting up an interesting night under the lights at Celtic Park.

The Scottish Champions were very good against Aberdeen at the weekend, setting up a Premier Sports Cup Final in December against Rangers. Brendan was shown a yellow card for booting a ball away in frustration, despite Celtic being three up. The manager will hope that his side have taken on his messages after the 6-0 win as they look to get a result against the Pot 1 team.

Leipzig have been beaten by Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Liverpool in the first three games of the UCL. The Germans will no doubt target the meeting at Paradise as an opportunity to get a victory, even if Celtic’s performances against Atalanta and Slovan Bratislava will have given them pause for thought.
