Breel Embolo made a major move on Monday, September 1, 2025, as the Swiss international leaves AS Monaco to join Stade Rennais. The forward has penned a four-year contract with the Red and Blacks in a transfer worth 15 million euros.

Breel Embolo wraps up his Monaco journey after three seasons spent in the Principality. Having arrived in 2022 from Borussia Mönchengladbach, the center-forward quickly adapted to the red and white jersey. His spell at Monaco ends with a record of 89 appearances, 22 goals scored, and 13 assists provided.
