After ending a three-match winless streak with a commanding 4-0 victory over Stuttgart at the weekend, Bayern Munich travel to Barcelona in the Champions League in midweek.

The game against Stuttgart also saw Harry Kane snap a three-match goal drought for Bayern with an impressive hat-trick.

Hansi Flick, who led Bayern to a treble in the 2019/20 season, has worked wonders with Barcelona so far, and they top the table with 27 points after a 5-1 win over Sevilla at the weekend.

Barca lost 2-1 to Monaco in their first Champions League game of the season after Eric Garcia saw red early on, but then thrashed Young Boys 5-0 at the Camp Nou in their second.

Former Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski has been in remarkable scoring form for Hansi Flick's side, finding the net 14 times in just 12 games.

Like their coming opponents, Bayern top the domestic table and have three points from two games in the Champions League after their sensational 9-2 win over Dinamo Zagreb was followed by a disappointing 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa.

Barcelona have been hit by a number of injuries, with ter Stegen (cruciate ligament), Ronald Araújo (thigh), Christensen (Achilles), Bernal (knee) and Torres (hamstring) all out. Dani Olmo is back in full training, but it's unclear if he'll be fit enough to start after watching the 5-1 win over Sevilla from the bench.

Bayern suffered an injury blow against Stuttgart when Aleksandar Pavlovic broke his collarbone. In his absence, Joao Palhinha is expected to start in midfield alongside Joshua Kimmich.

Jamal Musiala returned to full training on Monday following a hip problem and could replace Thomas Muller in attacking midfield if he's deemed fit enough to start.

Boey (meniscus), Ito (metatarsal) and Stanišić (knee) remain sidelined for the Bavarians.

Predicted lineups:

FC Barcelona (4-2-3-1): Iñaki Peña - Koundé, Cubarsí, Iñigo Martínez, Balde - Casadó, Pedri - Yamal, Fermín López, Raphinha - Lewandowski.

Bayern Munich (4-2-3-1): Neuer - Guerreiro, Kim, Upamecano, Davies - Kimmich, João Palhinha - Olise, Musiala, Gnabry - Kane.
