Manchester United star and Barcelona transfer target Marcus Rashford has come in for some fresh and altogether ruthless criticism on the part of head coach Ruben Amorim.
This comes amid ongoing questions over the Englishman’s attitude.
Rashford is for his part of course widely expected to be on the move before the month is out, having been deemed surplus to requirements by new boss Amorim.
The 27-year-old is understood to be on the radars of several clubs from across the continent, not least Hansi Flick’s Barcelona.
Rashford was again omitted from Manchester United’s matchday squad on Sunday, en route to a hard-fought victory over Fulham.
Speaking to the media in the game’s aftermath, it therefore came as little surprise when the topic of the attacker’s current situation at Old Trafford was put to his manager.
And, as alluded to above, Amorim made use of the opportunity to take firm aim at Rashford once more:
“It’s always the same reason – the training, the way I see a footballer should do in life. It’s every day, every detail.
“You can see on the bench we miss a bit of pace on the bench, but I would put [Manchester United goalkeeper coach Jorge] Vital before a player who doesn’t give the maximum every day.”
