Barcelona starlet agrees to move to Brazil | OneFootball

A member of the youth ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has this week come to the decision to move on.

That’s according to Brazilian outlet Globo, who point towards Wesley Dual as the player in question.

Dual, for his part, is an 18-year-old midfielder, who has been plying his trade on the books of the aforementioned Barcelona since back in 2020.

The youngster is held in high regard in Catalunya’s capital, considered a player with a solid career ahead of him at senior level.

In turn, it will no doubt mark a blow to those of a Barca persuasion to hear that Dual has opted to continue his development away from La Masia.

As per a report from Globo, this comes with Dual, whose mother is Brazilian, having agreed to the terms of a two-year contract with Seleção heavyweights Palmeiras:

‘Palmeiras have on Wednesday confirmed the signing of young Wesley Dual, a Spaniard with a Brazilian mother, for the Under-20 team. The 18-year-old midfielder has already represented Spain and the São Paulo club is just waiting for the documents to be sent to confirm the signing.’
