Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal includes six Real Madrid greats in his all-time XI | OneFootball

In a recent Instagram post, 433 has revealed Lamine Yamal’s greatest starting eleven in footballing history.

While one would expect the Spanish international to choose an XI filled with Barcelona legends and icon, the attacker has surprised everyone with his picks.

Six Real Madrid players in Yamal’s dream XI

As a matter of fact, there are at least six Real Madrid players in the dream XI Yamal chose – a list that includes Spanish goalkeeping legend Iker Casillas.

Casillas is the goalkeeper in the team ahead of other legends of the game including Lev Yashin and Oliver Kahn.

The second Real Madrid player to make the list is Sergio Ramos, who appears alongside Gerard Pique at the heart of the four-man backline.

Third Real Madrid player is Marcelo, who occupies the left-back position. Yamal chose the Brazilian ahead of Jordi Alba, whereas Dani Alves occupies the opposite flank.

In midfield, Yamal opted for Zinedine Zidane, which is not very surprising as the Frenchman would be on almost everyone’s dream XI.

Zidane is partnered by Neymar and Lionel Messi in the creative positions. At this point, Yamal has four Real Madrid players out of his eight players so far.

Interestingly, there was no place for Barcelona’s legendary midfielders Xavi and Andres Iniesta in the squad.

In the attack, there are some notable snubs from Yamal’s end as far as Barcelona players are concerned.

Instead of picking the likes of Luis Suarez or even Diego Maradona, Yamal opted for Ronaldo Nazario as the main centre-forward.

Ronaldo is partnered by Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo out wide, with Ronaldinho being the only Barcelona player in Yamal’s dream front three.

This equates to a total of six Real Madrid players in Yamal’s dream XI – a choice that may not please too many Barcelona fans.
