Barcelona place €50m price-tag on midfield star | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona have made known the kind of figure which would be required to coax them into the sale of Marc Casadó this summer.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Friday provided an insight into the situation.

The name of midfielder Casadó has of course emerged as a prominent one in the chatter surrounding Barcelona over the last 24 hours.

This comes after word was forthcoming that both Chelsea and Atlético Madrid have earmarked the 21-year-old as a potential summer transfer target.

And though Barca are not actively seeking a sale, the club’s ongoing financial problems mean that, for the right price, a deal could be negotiated.

So, what is the ‘right price’ in the eyes of Deco and co?

As per a report from the aforementioned Sport:

‘Casadó has a current valuation of around 30 million euros, so if there were an offer close to 50 million, the door would be opened to him.’
