Barcelona & Hansi Flick set for potential clash over €50m midfielder offer | OneFootball

The board at La Liga giants Barcelona are currently talking through the merits of accepting a big-money proposal for a member of the club’s midfield ranks.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Fermín López as the player in question.

Youngster Fermín, it is understood, has early this week come in for a €50 million offer by way of the Premier League.

Chelsea are the club pushing for the signature of the 22-year-old, who was left on the bench for the entirety of Barcelona’s weekend meeting with Levante.

Hansi Flick, for his part, is understood to have made crystal clear that he wants to keep hold of Fermín through the close of the transfer window.

Those in the Camp Nou boardroom, however, may well have other ideas…

As per a report from Sport:

‘The immediate interests of the coach, Hansi Flick, who does not want to part with any assets, clash with those of the club, which needs a major exit operation to be able to reach the long-awaited Financial Fair Play.’

Deco and co, in turn, are said to be ‘carefully evaluating’ Chelsea’s bid, which would go a long way towards solving the club’s long-standing monetary concerns.
