Barcelona director Deco sends message of support to João Cancelo | OneFootball

Barcelona sporting director Deco has this week turned heads online, courtesy of his latest activity on Instagram.

This comes after the Portuguese sent a message of appreciation the way of fellow countryman João Cancelo.

Defender Cancelo is for his part fresh off playing his part in a headline-grabbing result at the Club World Cup.

After a pulsating 120-minute affair with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, Saudi champions Al-Hilal ultimately sent the Sky Blues packing from the competition, to book a place in the quarter-finals.

Ex-Barcelona star Cancelo featured from the off in the matchup, from his customary spot on the right.

In the aftermath of his side’s historic triumph, the 31-year-old in turn took to social media, to unveil a celebratory post.

And as alluded to above, quick to take to the comments section was Barca director Deco, who replied to the post with a pair of applause emojis:
