The Blues completed a domestic treble after also winning the Women’s FA Cup and League Cup, and have won six WSL titles on the bounce.

However, ChatGPT has predicted that Chelsea will fail to win the title for the first time since 2019.

Meanwhile, the London City Lionesses have been predicted to impress following their promotion to the top-flight.

Below, we have the full Women’s Super League table according to AI, as well as predictions on who will be promoted, and if any teams get relegated ahead of next year’s expansion to 14 teams.

AI predicts Arsenal to beat Chelsea to Women’s Super League title

ChatGPT has predicted that Arsenal will beat Chelsea to the Women’s Super League title by just two points in the 2025-26 season.

Arsenal go into the season on a lot of momentum after beating Barcelona to win the Women’s Champions League in May.

Both clubs have been busy during the summer transfer window. However, the Gunners have made the standout deal of the summer, making Olivia Smith the first £1 million player in women’s football history.

The Gunners have also signed Taylor Hinds from Liverpool, while Chloe Kelly returns on a permanent deal from Manchester City.

Kelly impressed on loan last season and starred for England during Euro 2025, scoring the winning penalty against Spain.

Betting sites have made Kelly the favourite to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award later this year.

Manchester United and Man City will also close the gap on the top two but remain in third and fourth place like last season.

Last season both clubs finished 16 and 17 points behind Chelsea. AI has predicted they will both finish within ten points off the eventual champions.

The bad news for Manchester City is that they would miss out on Champions League qualification by just two points.

Aston Villa to lead congested mid-table according to AI

Moving towards the mid-table, Aston Villa are expected to finish as best of the rest in the Women’s Super League according to AI.

Villa finished sixth behind Brighton in the WSL last season, but are predicted to go one better this campaign.

ChatGPT described Villa’s summer transfer window as ‘serious recruitment’ with the additions of Ellie Roebuck and Lynn Wilms improving their defence.

Everton are predicted to finish sixth with a squad that is ‘more athletic and creative’ than last term.

They are ahead of newly promoted London City Lionesses on goal difference alone.

ChatGPT said London City have had an ‘incredible window,’ hailing the signings of Danielle van de Donk and Nikita Parris.

Liverpool are down in eighth due to Olivia Smith and Taylor Hinds both signing for Arsenal and uncertainty over the managerial position.

The Reds are without a manager one month ahead of the season, though are interested in hiring former Manchester City boss Gareth Taylor.

Brighton have been predicted to drop from fifth to ninth, as AI questioned whether they may ‘struggle for creativity’.

Leicester City face relegation according to AI

AI has predicted that Leicester City will get relegated to the second-tier of English football.

The Foxes have been very quiet in the summer transfer window with only the addition of Katie Keane from Shamrock Rovers.

ChatGPT described Leicester as ‘clear relegation favourites’ and that goals ‘will be a massive problem’. However, this could still change depending on signings they make before the end of the window.

Leicester are predicted to finish on nine points, six behind West Ham and 10 behind 10th-placed Tottenham.

Which three sides will be promoted to the Women’s Super League?

ChatGPT has predicted that Birmingham City will be crowned as WSL2 champions and be automatically promoted to the top-flight of English football.

They are predicted to go automatically up alongside Bristol City, with both described as having deep squads with strong foundations.

Birmingham finished second last season, while Bristol City finished down in sixth.

AI also predicted Durham to finish third in WSL2 and get promoted by beating Leicester City in the playoff.

Who will win the Women’s Super League Golden Boot?

AI has predicted that Arsenal striker Alessia Russo will win the Golden Boot, firing the Gunners to WSL title glory.

Russo shared the prize with Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw with 12 goals last term.

Alessia Russo is predicted to win the Golden Boot

This time around, ChatGPT predicts she will clinch the Golden Boot with 15 goals across the 2025-26 season.

Shaw, fresh off being handed the No.9 shirt at Man City, will finish as the league’s second top scorer.

Chelsea striker Aggie Beever-Jones is predicted to finish third in the Golden Boot running.
