With Kieffer Moore now being closely linked with a move to Wrexham, here are two forwards who could be on their way from the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham could be set to sign yet another striker, with Sheffield United's Kieffer Moore reportedly a target for the Championship newcomers.
With Paul Mullin having already left on loan to Wigan Athletic, big changes are coming to Wrexham's front-line ahead of their first season in the second tier since 1982.
The club have been linked with numerous forwards over the summer, with Ryan Hardie and Josh Windass both added to Phil Parkinson's options already.
The Red Dragons have also now been linked with Wales international Kieffer Moore, as per the Sheffield Star, and this further proof of the changing times at the Racecourse Ground could spell bad news for forwards already on their books.
Here are TWO that could be giving serious consideration to moving on from Wrexham, should Moore arrive.
With recent talk of how Wrexham could have a £10 million budget for a new striker this summer, it's a reminder of how far the club has come and how quickly times have changed, having signed Ollie Palmer from Wimbledon in January 2022 for a club-record transfer of £300,000 - how times have changed.
Palmer has been an outstanding servant to Wrexham since then, but his time with the club is now surely coming to an end, despite having signed a contract extension with the club to the end of the 2025-26 season in October 2024.
His number of appearances for the Red Dragons dropped significantly last season to just 27, and at 33 years of age, warming the bench at The Racecourse Ground seems more likely to be his future than getting regular game-time.
Wrexham fans will be sad to see him go. He is, after all, an important part of the story of their rise back from the non-league game.
But as a player who's never played above League One before, it's difficult to see how he fits into the plans of a club who do not consider their recent upward trajectory to have ended yet, and with time now starting to run out on his playing career, he may be best off going somewhere he can get regular minutes.
Jack Marriott has only been with Wrexham for a year-and-a-half since signing from Fleetwood Town, and the arrival of new attacking players only seems likely to push the 30-year-old even further down the pecking order for a place in the team in the Championship.
Unlike Palmer, Marriott has played Championship football before, but unfortunately, his record at that level isn't particularly strong, with just 19 goals in four seasons at that level for Derby County, Sheffield Wednesday and Peterborough United.
He's been something of a bit-part player for Wrexham since joining, having made 47 league appearances and started just nine times in League One last season, and it's difficult to see how he fits into Parkins's future plans - dropping back to League One or League Two could be the best decision he could make.
