Who is City’s Divin Mubama? | OneFootball

Divin Mubama has been named in the starting XI of our FA Cup clash with League Two outfit Salford City.

It is the 20-year-old striker's senior debut for the Club since joining and being part of our Elite Development Squad in the summer.

Whilst it is his first start in the prestigious FA Cup, it is not his first taste of senior football.

Previously at West Ham, Mubama made 18 senior appearances, including five in the Premier League, and scored one goal for the Hammers.

During his time in their academy, the forward also bagged an impressive 58 goals in 90 games.

Already looking to try and emulate his talent in blue, Mubama has scored two goals and assisted another in his first full debut for Ben Wilkinson’s side in the Premier League 2.

His performance included relentless running, power, strength and impressive link-up play with his new team-mates.

And the 3-2 win over Sunderland, orchestrated by Mubama, was a worthy reward after his return from injury which saw him sidelined since the start of the 2024/25 season.

Mubama joins an ever-growing list of City debuts for the current campaign.

Academy products Nico O’Reilly, Jahmai Simpson-Pusey and Kaden Braithwaite have all featured for Guardiola since August, as well as new signing Savinho.
