A poor performance from Eddie Howe’s side.

Crystal Palace on it from the start and the better team.

However, at 1-0 down and less than 15 minutes left on the clock, a massive moment.

Sean Longstaff runs onto a pass inside the box and Will Hughes clearly pulls him back.

Should this have been a penalty and potential game/result changing decision?

The referee on the pitch not giving it and then VAR looking at it but deciding not ‘clear and obvious’ mistake, so not directing the referee to the pitchside monitor.

For me, it is an absolute stonewall penalty.

We would never hear the last of it from the likes of Arteta, Klopp and Ten Hag if their teams didn’t get this penalty.

These official Crystal Palace 2 Newcastle 0 match highlights telling the story of the game and a chance to see that massive moment that could and should have given NUFC a lifeline.

See for yourselves.
