Milan have persuaded Ardon Jashari and Guéla Doué, who want to join and are ignoring other destinations for now. However, their respective teams are proving to be hard bargainers, especially Club Brugge.

Director Bob Madou addressed the topic to Het Nieuwsblad (via Fantacalcio).

“We don’t think that his time at our club is over yet. We’re sure that he’ll move to a top team in the future, but only when it’s right for everybody, which isn’t the case today. We presume he’ll stay. We understand his disappointment.”

Per Calciomercato, the Rossoneri have tendered €32.5M plus €5.5M add-ons, €2.5M of which easy to trigger. They are unlikely to raise it. The midfielder is pushing to be let go.

Milan are waiting to see whether Club Brugge will eventually budge and face a similar stalemate for Doué, although at inferior numbers, Gianluca Di Marzio reports. They have offered €15M, while Strasbourg want more. They are under the BlueCo umbrella that also controls Chelsea.

The fullback has informed coach Liam Rosenior that he wants to transfer to San Siro. He’s was acquired from Stade Rennes for €6M last summer. He has 58 Ligue 1 games to his name, during which he has teed up 6 teammates.

Our Take on Milan Tracking Jashari and Doué

Considering their economic standards, they have already gone above and beyond for the former and are right in holding firm. We’ll see whether Igli Tare will have the nerve and determination to play the game of chicken for longer than their previous brass used to do. Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada tended to cower pretty quickly whenever there was any sign of a bidding war or any negotiation got too tough.
